I don't consider myself an "artist." I've never really been capable of translating what is in my head onto the page/canvass. This is particularly true with painting, but I have had a small amount of success with pen and ink. I think this struggle is in large part what prompted me toward doing graphic design. The computer helps with some of the finesse that I've never quite mastered with my hands. I didn't really do any traditional art for years after leaving school. In the last few years I have started messing with it again, the images below are the results of some of that.

As far as photography goes, it's something that I just enjoy doing. I don't have any illusions about it. I find it relaxing, and it's helped to provide source images for some of the design projects I have done. There are some examples below as well.
