Lefthandeddecision began in 1997 with dozens of releases and/or compilation appearances on the books since then. Most of these have been severely limited and quickly went out of print.
"Instinct & Emotion" marked the first widely available release from the project, and some of his most visceral material to date. Constrictive heavy electronics, eroding frequencies, subterranean rhythmic crumbling, venomous vocal processing and black scab atmospherics congealing beneath it all... these are the unruly voices of Lefthandeddecision. The "Instinct & Emotion" CD, was releases with a limited CDR companion called "Personal Precision" that was limited to 50 copies.
Phil Blankenship, the man behind Lefthandeddecision, also runs the ever busy Troniks/PacRec label, responsible for a series of excellent limited cassettes, vinyl and now CD & CDR releases. Lefthandeddecision has transformed into simply LHD, and now features John Wiese of Bastard Noise & Sissy Spacek fame assiting in the project. Phil now records solo under the name The Cherry Point.
