When I was a kid I never thought about being a musician, it just sort of happened. Writing is something I have done off and on since I was very young. In the last 15 years it has been more off than on by a long shot. At the beginning of 2009 I decided it was time to try and get serious about it again. It's early days in that recommitment, but I hope to have a few things posted here going forward that may be of some interest as I feel my way through this and see about trying to get a publishing credit or two under my belt.

I'm involved in the Critters.org critique group, and surface on the Zoetrope.com groups on occasion. Critters in particular has been quite helpful.

Currently I am working on a few short story ideas, some flash fiction, and there are a couple novel fragments that I hope to pack some meat on as well. The shorter pieces are my focus at the moment as I try and refine the discipline and work habits it takes to write something I am prepared to actually call finished.
